Job Title: Maternal Child Health (MCH) Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hrs 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: One year recent (within the last three years) full-time equivalent experience in Level III Neonatal Intensive Care preferred. License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: - Basic Life Support - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Must-Have: - Recent experience in Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Job Description: - Provide high-quality nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU setting. - Monitor and assess the health status of critically ill newborns. - Administer medications and treatments as directed by the healthcare team. - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create and implement patient care plans. - Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and protocols. - Educate and support families, providing them with the necessary information regarding their infant---s condition and care. - Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with advancements in neonatal care. - Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members as needed.
