Job DescriptionAs a Data Center Software Engineer, you will be part of an energetic and diverse group of engineers building next-generation solutions, enabling Intel to be one generation ahead in technology.Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Ensures the efficient planning, provisioning, installation/configuration, maintenance, and/or operations of the hardware and software infrastructure required to build, validate, and release various hardware and software products and projects.
• Works closely with development and quality teams to derive infrastructure design requirements, build, test, and automate tools appropriate to the project, and/or implement and maintain those systems within the constraints imposed by Intel enterprise infrastructure (IT) and other governing bodies.
• Owns the end-to-end delivery pipeline, including source code management, versioning/tagging strategy, component build and packaging, test automation tooling, release staging, acceptance and/or indicators, required security and IP scans, any third-party conformance tools, artifact storage and distribution, and disaster recovery planning.
• Identifies opportunities and implements solutions for increased pipeline automation, reliability, and/or velocity by implementing robust infrastructure telemetry, KPIs, and indicators and monitoring and applying industry best practices.The candidate must exhibit the following behavioral traits:

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are a plus factor in identifying top candidates.Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications):
    • US Citizenship required.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain an active US Government clearance.
    • The candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or another relevant field of study.
    • 3+ months of experience with Linux OS (preferred SUSE) and scripting languages such as Python/Perl.Preferred Qualifications:
      • 3+ months of experience with industry-standard tools such as Ansible, Cobbler, Cfengine, Containers/Kubernetes.
