Company:Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.Job Area:Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Cellular System Test EngineeringGeneral Summary:This individual possesses solid engineering fundamentals and advanced knowledge in creating a continuous automation environment using the Rapid CRM Integration (RCI) framework. Creates automation tools for complex scenarios and manual tasks performed by the team. The beneficiary supports issues, resolves errors, and maintains automation software running on various Qualcomm's MSM and MDM chipsets. Has in-depth knowledge in Drekar, Orbit, JIRA, Axiom, ARIS, ODS, and Package Warehouse. Develops automation tools for process improvements in the 5G Modem Integration team on Jenkins/Drekar (Qualcomm Internal Docker platform) using Python and other programming languages. Troubleshoots issues in the RCI framework and provides support to consumers within Qualcomm. Handles the 5G Modem software integration and enables CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Development) pipeline jobs. Validates/enables different 5G modem features on new Qualcomm chipsets. Provides technical support for Qualcomm Internal tools developed within the 5G Software team. Releases VU (Versioned Units) with validated 5G modem software code changes for different product lines which would be released to different customers. Enables automation tools for process improvements using Python and other programming languages. Administrates Jenkins for running tools and CI/CD pipeline builds for validating compilation of 5G modem software code. Creates Jenkins CI/CD pipeline projects for 5G modem software build compilation. Administers the Package Warehouse platform for integration of 5G modem software code and quality control. Expertise in the ARIS platform for releasing 5G modem software VU to internal teams. Uses APIs for the Orbit platform for tracking/creating change requests. Uses SQL and Python on the ODS database for querying information from Qualcomm's internal database. Participates in design reviews and project meetings.Will accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related degree field and one (1) year of experience in a related occupation.Telecommuting may be permitted.
