About the Role:

As a CBRE Fire Safety Supervisor, you will oversee the team responsible for planning and coordinating fire safety operations,

This job is part of the Fire and Security job function. They are responsible for the physical security and fire safety of the organization or other tangible assets.

What You'll Do:

• Act as liaison with the client, security staff, building operations manager and property managers to forecast workload demand and project deliverables.
• Schedule and provide team training on life safety systems to staff and contractors.
• Review and enforce policies for FLS activities, and report fire and safety hazards. Serve as a point of escalation for all FLS issues.
• Manage, plan, coordinate, schedule, and oversee the workload, deadlines, and day-to-day activities of the support team members to ensure effective delivery of services.
• Establish and maintain emergency procedures and logs. This includes revising and maintaining assignments of all fire safety personnel.
• Oversee all testing of fire life safety systems regularly to make sure the systems work in an effective and efficient manner, maintaining regulatory compliance and reporting.
• Responsible for MOP creation either solely or in collaboration with contractors.
• Manage hot work permit process and approvals. Ensure fire-watch compliance during system impairments.
• Manage and forecast FLS budget.
• Maintain records of all FLS related activities or incidents. Manage budget and FLS manual/playbook updates.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures.
  
  What You'll Need:
  
  
  • High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of job-related experience. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of NFPA codes
  • CMMS (work order system) experience is a plus.
  • In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function.
  • Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with an inquisitive mindset.

    California Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Fire & Safety Security Compliance Supervisor position is $105,000 and the maximum salary for the Fire & Safety Security Compliance Supervisor position is $115,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
