Intel's Client SOC Architecture team as a Client SoC Performance
Architect. The team is responsible for developing advanced
modelling and methodology techniques and using them to conduct
architectural exploration and optimization.Who You Are: You will be
responsible for driving and developing advanced modelling and
analysis techniques and using them to define and propose future
SoCs architectures with industry leading performance and power.
This role will require close cooperation with the architecture,
validation, software, emulation, design, post silicon and power
teams.As a Client SoC Performance Architect, your responsibilities
will include but are not limited to:
- Architecturally defines, models and evaluates the viability of
complex hardware features and ensures that software and hardware
designs interface correctly.
- Identifies, analyzes and resolves subsystem and SoC
architectural bottlenecks for complex multiple IP
applications.
- Influences future product definition by significantly
contributing to the architecture used across families and
generations.
- Willing to effectively work in a team, strong initiative to
deliver high quality results, enjoys exploring breadth of technical
options and takes informed risks.QualificationsYou must possess the
minimum qualifications below to be initially considered for this
position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum
requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top
candidates.Minimum skills and experience that will get you noticed:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of industry experience in the
relevant field.
- -OR- a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer
Engineering, Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of industry
experience in the relevant field.
- -OR- a PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of industry experience in the
relevant field.Preferred skills and experience that will make you
standout:
- Computer Architecture: 5+ year of experience with
simulation-based performance modeling, and performance
analysis.
- 5+ year of experience with System C, C/C++, python, and
git.
- Academic research in computer architecture and
performance/power analysis.
- Experience with cache hierarchy, memory, and/or interconnection
network architectures.
- Experience with Software Architecture and Development using
clean coding principles.
- Experience using machine learning and data science for
