Role and Responsibilities

Space/Exhibit Management:
o Space Maintenance and Security: Inspect space daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually making sure the space is organized, operational, secured and efficient.
o Space Inventory: Conduct space inventories documenting layout, assets, supplies and usage of existing spaces and ensure that the space is optimized and keeping it clean, operational, confidential and creative environment.
o Space Utilization: Evaluate existing space and usage to look for consolidations or improvements that help optimize operations
o Space/Exhibit Set up: Evaluate Team Member's request and practice organizational process planning, and research best options/implementations. Provide administrations and technical skills handling all required documentations (budget planning, bidding, vendor selection and registration, etc) and process requirements (justifications, options,

Provide administrations and technical skills handling all required documentations (budget planning, bidding, vendor selection and registration, etc) and process requirements (justifications, options, vendor selection, executions (installations, repairs, maintenance, improvements/upgrades, etc.) and recommendations to assist in the allocation/modification of space)

o Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
--- Plan, design, assess, and implement custom installations of connected technologies and IoT scenarios with direction from Managing Director, Operations Lead and project leads
--- Install, set up, operate, troubleshoot and repair AV equipment (e.g. TVs, speakers, cameras, IoT devices)
--- Connect devices to network & maintain software regularly, building a working ecosystem (requires significant experience with networks/internet connections)
--- Setup existing Samsung products to work within existing UX zone space, test equipment regularly to confirm working stats (especially before executive visits)
--- Transport/move equipment as needed during project transitions (e.g. to storage)
--- Keep records of all product inventory, installations, maintenance
--- Coordinate with project managers on current and future plans to display specific scenarios
--- Program specific scenarios/use cases to illustrate how multiple products work together (computer science background is a plus, specifically with ability to program scenarios that are not possible using existing applications & software)
--- Evaluate, select & install specific software, drivers & applications to implement desired scenarios
--- Develop plan for addressing issues where conflicts arise between different products, services & software
--- Organize & maintain a clean, orderly space free of wires & workplace hazards
--- Work with third party vendors to implement scenarios
--- Protect security of system (consulting with internal IT departments to discuss system needs and how to comply with existing security guidelines)
--- Must work on-site (5 days a week) - job is to maintain a physical space
--- Provide daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports to Operations Director on above R&R.
--- Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein

Required Skills and Qualifications
o 7 - 10 years of experience, minimum 7 years of experience, directly in exhibit set up and facility planning and management.
o Minimum Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or University. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered with good track record
o Experience with planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.
o Experience with IT and technical exhibit set up experiences must. This includes cabling and PC/network & audio technical expertise.
o Knowledgeable in the use of carpentry techniques, hand tools, power tools, basic electrical wiring and lighting, paints and adhesives and associated safety practices.
o Knowledgeable of audio-video equipment with the ability to learn new skills in regards to operating and maintaining specialize A/V systems and equipment
o Able to interact with all levels of the organization, external Vendors/Contractors, and Technicians.
o Ability to read, analyze and interpret design schematics, shop/fabrication drawings and basic coding/programming
o Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks concurrently and deliver results (multitasker and goal oriented).
o Detailed and results oriented with high sense of urgency.
o Excellent task and time management skills.
o Strong problem solving and data management skills.
o Excellent communications skills (both written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
o Strong organizational and project management skills (attention to details).
o Excellent Microsoft office skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
o Experience with the Adobe creative suite is preferred but not required.
