***Role Title: AVP / Sr. AVP -Client PartnerLocation: NYC / San
Jose, CAThe VP - Client Partner role focuses on driving
profitability, client engagement, and growth within EXL's banking
accounts. You will lead client relationships, manage end-to-end
sales cycles, and deliver operational excellence. The role requires
a deep understanding of the banking domain, proven experience in
large account management, and the ability to build strong
relationships with senior stakeholders. This position is central to
advancing EXL's strategic goals and expanding its presence in the
US banking sector.What the role entails:
- Deliver Profitability, Client Engagement and NPS, Growth and
Operational Delivery with existing banking accounts.
- Be responsible for the sales cycle from deal origination to
closure (signed contract) and successful handover to the Operation
Management.
- Bring an understanding of the marketplace and competitor
offerings to drive EXL's growth strategy and investments.
- Act as Client Partner to the Banking Domain and be responsible
for significantly growing EXL revenues within existing
accounts.
- Collaborate and develop 3rd party and advisor relations to
build credible EXL voice in the geography and generate
opportunities from this channel.
- Propose - Submit and handle proposals with full ownership and
accountability for the opportunity. Work closely with the sales
enablement teams to ensure high quality of proposals.
- Ability to drive personal results in a collaborative, team
selling environment.
- Experience in managing senior level relationships extending to
the C-level.
- Strong consultative sales and negotiation skills
preferred.
- Demonstrates good problem solving and analytical skills.
- Lead productive and engaging meetings with individuals who may
have competing goals and objectives.
- Proven skill to build relationships by offering recommendations
through formal sales presentations, written proposals, and
negotiating to yes preferred.
- Excellent planning, organizational and project management
skills. Familiarity with Salesforce.com highly preferred.
- Travel to client locations across the US as needed.Experience
and background required:
- Large Account Management experience within Banking domain.
- Experience managing relationships with CDOs, CROs, COOs, CTOs,
CIOs, Customer Service Directors.
- Balance multiple, concurrent deals to achieve challenging
growth targets.
- Effectively identify and translate client needs into EXL
services. Develop an understanding of customers' business needs,
matching them with EXL's capabilities, and developing winning
proposals for EXL.
- Work effectively across the EXL organization and partner with
the appropriate team members to demonstrate the depth and breadth
of EXL's solutions.
- Be a key intermediary between the service delivery team and the
customer.
- Astute at identifying and qualifying opportunities within an
existing account base, be able to develop strong relationships at
potential client organizations and have the proven ability to
convert these relationships into commercial engagements.Behavioral

Provide guidance to internal teams that work with you to develop

monitor client satisfaction with the ongoing delivery of existing
projects and request interventions from delivery leaders, if
required. Proactively identify expansion opportunities within
existing relationships as well as new engagements to serve emerging
needs of the clients and lead the business development leveraging
capabilities and expertise within the organization.
- Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills.
- Advanced presentation skills, coupled with solid executive
presence and the ability to establish.
- Excellent people management skills - highly professional in
dealings with clients and co-workers.
- Ability to deal with unexpected and/or delicate situations
calmly and with sound judgment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under
pressure.Education:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, graduate
degree a plus.
- Preferably MBA from a top-tier business school or post-graduate
or equivalent professional qualification.10+ years of
post-qualification
