Fortinet has an exciting opportunity for an intermediate SRE Specialist to join our FortiGuard operation team. We are managing consumer-facing services with high traffic volumes around the world. Service Reliability and Security is our top priority. This is a unique opportunity to join an established team of experienced professionals to work on some of the most innovative technology and network security products on the market.Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop and administration of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools/systems to automate deployments, operating systems, and applications.
• Design and deployment of global Kubernetes cluster, including measures for securing and protecting applications and data in the cluster.
• Linux Server Administration (Ubuntu/Red Hat/CentOS).
• Network Administration (Switch/Router/Firewall).
• Server, VM, application and network key performance metrics monitoring.
• Identify, document and track software defects found during testing.
• Develop, maintain and execute tools and scripts to provide automation and self-service solutions.
• Troubleshooting and resolution of security appliances, servers, storage, Kubernetes and network issues.
• Provide on-call support for critical services to ensure high availability.Job Experience Required
  • 3+ years of practical administration experience in Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) as a server platform. Required experience with Linux operation system itself as well as with production-level software and hardware.
  • 3+ years of practical administration experience in virtualized environments.
  • 3+ years of practical experience with automation tools (Ansible/Terraform).
  • Knowledge of configuring physical servers & network appliances (e.g., Dell, HP, Fortinet FortiGate/FortiSwitch).
  • Knowledge of monitoring network/server systems: Zabbix, Cacti etc.
  • Knowledge of observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard protocols (TCP/IP, Apache, DNS, LDAP, etc.)
  • Knowledge of deployment automation in physical and virtual environments.
  • Knowledge of at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, Perl etc.)
  • Highly organized, able to multi-task, the ability to work individually, within a team and with other groups.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written across all user levels.
  • Strong understanding of system security practices and implementation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Bonus Experience
    • Knowledge of Kubernetes is a big plus.
    • Knowledge of CI/CD platforms and DevOps tools.
    • Knowledge of Software Defined Storage and Networks.Educational Requirement
      • A degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or a related field.
      • Certification for CCIE, RHCE, Fortinet FCP in Network Security or FCA would be the bonus.
