team is in search of an enthusiastic and quick-learning Software
Engineer to join our team, focusing on our innovative in-house
manufacturing and supply chain computer vision project. In this
role, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the
development of a groundbreaking technology that enhances our
production processes, improving the way we design, build, and
deliver our products globally.Being part of Tesla's Vehicle
Engineering team means joining a dynamic group that owns the
technical aspects of our multi-continent Gigafactory network and
product line. This role will enable you to impact the development
of significant projects such as Cybertruck and Robotaxi.As a
Software Engineer on the Vehicle Engineering team, you'll be taking
the reins in a product ownership role. Embrace this opportunity to

to revolutionize our global Gigafactories. With a strong foundation
in computer science fundamentals, you'll collaborate with
cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize solutions
that enhance our industrial processes.There are no hard

we value first-principle thinking, concrete background knowledge in
fundamentals, your passion for learning, and your desire to create
innovative solutions. Your role may require flexibility, as the
challenges we face in this complex and rapidly evolving field
necessitate a versatile team player.What You'll Do
- Investigate and understand real-world problems and choose
proper solutions based on trade-offs.
- Iterate over prototyping solutions quickly.
- Help translate prototypes into scalable systems.
- Maintain and improve existing applications as needed.What
You'll Bring
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent
experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a solid foundation in first
principle thinking.
- Demonstrated bias towards action and an eagerness to engage in
discussions and debates.
- Strong fundamental knowledge in at least ONE subject of the
following domains: Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science.
- Background knowledge in vision and machine learning related
technologies.
- Proficiency in at least ONE programming language.
- Experience with Golang is a plus.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies is a plus.
- Experience with mature ML systems such as PyTorch, TensorFlow,
or Keras is a plus.Compensation and BenefitsAlong with competitive

$120,000 - $252,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards +
benefits. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized
factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills,
and experience. The total compensation package for this position
may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
