Location: Position reports to company headquarters in Santa Clara, telecommuting permittedFull timeResponsibilities

• Translate UI/UX design wireframes to code that will provide the User interface for the application
• Work with UI/UX designer to convert graphical designs to technical implementation
• Work with backend engineers to understand the application functionality and build the user facing interface
• Optimize application for performance and scalability
• Build modular layouts, reusable code and libraries for future development
• Write design specifications for the various components of the user interface
• Implement asynchronous request handling, partial page updates using client-side scripting and JavaScript framework such as Backbone and AngularJS
• Implement cross-browser compatible code
• Implement dynamic web pages using Websockets
• Understand and implement REST APIs
• Collaborate with global development teams
• Drive and champion the culture of performance, maintainability, quality and automation in the team
• Research latest technologies related to UI/UX
• Review code written by other team membersRequirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 2 years of related experience (work experience and/or internships)
  • Deep understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Backbone and AngularJS
  • Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates and AJAX
  • Knowledge and understanding of REST APIsSalary: $172,931 - $185,000 a year
