Coverage: ASAP --- 3-6 Month Commitment Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm Specialty: Oncology (Hematology/Oncology would be beneficial) Setting: Clinic --- Provider will be covering the Infusion Center --- taking calls for patients calling in with questions but also seeing and assisting in the infusion center with any patients that need assistance. Daily Responsibilities: Working in Oncology Infusion Department working with patients doing blood, IV---s, Hydration, Med Orders, Chemo Orders --- RN---s will do the Infusions --- taking phone calls with patients No Call Patients per shift: Estimated 10-20 patient interactions per day --- mainly all calls --- may see 2-4 patients daily in person in the infusion center. Infusion triaging, in basket coverage, and ER triaging. No Leukemia --- sending out to local providers for induction/stabilization and then to Roseville and/or Stanford for treatment EMR: Epic Credentialing timeframe: 45-60 days Requirements: Active unrestricted CA License Active AHA ACLS & BLS certifications Minimum 3 years of experience Board Certified - in either Oncology or Hematology Vaccination Requirement: Required with Booster Full-time coverage is mandatory---no deviations from the requested schedule will be accepted. Must be able to provide at least 2 supervisory references.
