About the Role:
As a CBRE Sr. Facilities Manager, you will manage many functions of
building operations and maintenance for a corporate HQ campus, or
portfolio of buildings.
This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area
which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets
and may partner with client to manage tenant spaces.
What You'll Do:
Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by working
with technicians, vendors, and contractors. Partner with client,
building occupants, and business units to coordinate maintenance
windows as needed to ensure minimal downtime and to prevent
business disruptions.
Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on
unresolved facility issues.
Support and manage small to large and high-profile capital
projects.
Prepare and manage operating budgets and variance reports.
Perform facility inspections to ensure quality assurance following
local, state, and federal regulations.
Manage pest control and janitorial programs in adherence to
established regulatory quality standards.
Suggest and implement operational efficiencies, repairs, and
upgrade opportunities.
Follow client's environmental health and safety procedures for
facilities. Ensure SOPs are in place outlining safe work practices
and that all staff are trained and operate according to SOPs.
Develop vendor relationships and oversee invoicing procedures.
Review and approve purchase orders for the procurement of parts,
services, and labor for projects.
Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how
own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and
departmental objectives.
Provide formal supervision to employees. Track the training and
development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work
schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff
and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE
RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view
while being guided by policies and departmental plans.
Identify and solve technical and operational problems of
complexity.
Understand and recognize the broader impact across the
department.
Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards
within job discipline.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant
experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and
education will be considered. Valid driver's license required.
Facility Management certification preferred.
Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training,
development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and
rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
Capability to communicate sensitive and complex information
effectively, set performance expectations, and address
challenges.
Strong leadership abilities to inspire the team in reaching
overarching operational goals that affect individual roles, various
job functions, and the department.
Extensive proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word,
Excel, Outlook, and other related applications.
Strong organizational skills and a highly curious mindset.
Intermediate math skills required, including the ability to perform
calculations involving percentages, fractions, and other financial
computations.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United

future.
California Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to
determine compensation, including a candidate's education,
training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr. Facilities
Manager position is $145,000 and the maximum salary for the Sr.
Facilities Manager position is $160,000 annually. The compensation
that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the
candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful
candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on
CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the
following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance,
Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
