RemoteJob Term: Full-TimeThe Opportunity: Picarro is seeking a
highly motivated and results-oriented Product Marketing Manager
(PMM) to join our growing team focused on building and providing
solutions to environmental monitoring needs. In this critical role,
you will play a pivotal role in bringing our cutting-edge products
to market, driving awareness, adoption, and sales across diverse
industry segments.Responsibilities:
- Deep Product Expertise: Partner with product management,
engineering, and sales teams to gain a comprehensive understanding
of our solutions suite, including its functionalities, target
markets, and unique value propositions for various customer
segments. Conduct in-depth product reviews and immerse yourself in
the user experience to ensure messaging resonates with customer
pain points. Focus especially on how our solutions address
challenges related to Ethylene Oxide (EtO) sterilization and
Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emissions monitoring and
regulations.
- Market Intelligence & Trend Spotting: Conduct thorough market
research to identify emerging environmental and regulatory trends
that might impact your target audience. Analyze competitor
landscapes and stay ahead of the curve by anticipating future
compliance challenges faced by different industries, with a
particular focus on evolving EtO sterilization regulations and
tightening VOC emission standards. Leverage your findings to inform
product development and marketing strategies.
- Compelling Product Messaging & Content Creation: Develop a
clear and concise product positioning framework that effectively
communicates the benefits and competitive advantages of your
compliance solutions, specifically highlighting how they help
businesses comply with stricter emission limits to meet
environmental regulations. Craft compelling marketing collateral,
such as product brochures, case studies, white papers, and blog
posts, tailored to educate potential customers with varying levels
of technical expertise.
- Sales Enablement: Collaborate closely with sales teams to
develop and deliver impactful sales enablement tools, including
product training, sales collateral, and messaging guides. Equip the
international sales force with the insights and resources needed to
effectively position the product and close opportunities.
Continuously gather feedback to refine and optimize enablement
strategies.
- Demand Generation & Lead Nurturing: Develop and execute
targeted marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., digital
advertising, content marketing, webinars, trade shows) to generate
high-quality leads and drive product adoption. Utilize marketing
automation tools to nurture leads and guide them through the sales
funnel, emphasizing how your solutions can help them navigate the
complexities of EtO and VOC regulations.
- Data-Driven Marketing & Performance Analysis: Track and analyze
marketing campaign performance using marketing automation tools and
marketing analytics platforms. Measure key metrics (e.g., website
traffic, lead generation, conversion rates) to identify areas for
improvement and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
- Regulatory Expertise & Thought Leadership: Stay up-to-date on
the latest environmental regulations and evolving compliance
standards that impact our target markets, with a particular focus
on recent amendments to the EPA's National Emission Standards for
Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) for Ethylene Oxide Sterilization
Facilities and upcoming changes to VOC regulations at both federal
and state levels. Translate complex regulations into actionable
insights and translate this knowledge into thought leadership
content that positions your company as a trusted advisor in the
compliance space.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, environmental science, public
policy, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing or other industry
specific experience, preferably within the environmental or
regulatory compliance space.
- Strong understanding of environmental and regulatory compliance
challenges faced by various industries (e.g., manufacturing,
healthcare, energy).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the
ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences (technical and
non-technical).
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot,
Marketo) and marketing analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics,
Tableau).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in
a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills to build
strong relationships with cross-functional teams.Bonus points:
- Experience in developing marketing materials for a technical
audience.
- In-depth knowledge of specific environmental or regulatory
compliance standards relevant to your target markets, particularly
those related to EtO sterilization and VOC emissions.
