FocusKPI is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager
(Admin) to join one of our clients, a high-tech, SaaS company.The
main function of this marketing manager is to run marketing
activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities
and plans; implementing sales plans and managing marketing
staff.Work Location: Remote - based on PST timezoneDuration: 8
months contractPay Range: $80/hr to $92/hrAdmin experience:
- Develop a unified GTM strategy & plan for 3-7 upcoming feature
launches across 8 PMs
- Execute the GTM plan by developing key materials (web copy,
community posts, enablement artifacts)
- Enable sales on upcoming launches
- Implement findings about admin persona throughout their
existing marketing properties and deliver additional
recommendations for how the client can better improve our admin
experience both in product and in marketing
- Create an admin experience messaging guide and enable other
internal teams on how to best communicate with
adminsResponsibilities:
- This is a product marketing manager role. This person is
responsible for owning and running individual campaigns as part of
existing product and GTM strategies across channels, partnering
with product management, demand generation, creative, sales, sales
enablement and other marketing support teams.
- Build and maintain relationships with core PM counterparts,
create GTM launch plans for product releases and execute, analyze
performance and make strategic recommendations based on data for
how to proceed.
- Create sales enablement artifacts (battlecards, sales plays)
and customer-facing collateral (web pages, pitch decks,
blogs).
- Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer
requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's
strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business;
establishing targeted market share.
- Improves product marketability and profitability by
researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities;
improving product packaging; coordinating new product
development.
- Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing
data and trends.
- Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing
related results as needed.Main Duties:
- In this role, you'll be fully embedded in their product
marketing team of seven ICs and one manager. They have a weekly
team meeting and monthly departmental meeting as well as weekly
meetings with core stakeholders across product, demand generation,
and sales enablement. You'll have a weekly or biweekly 1:1 with
your manager in the late afternoon. Additionally, you'll meet
regularly with other PMMs on the team as needed.
- The team has a rich culture of peer review and collaboration -
you will give and receive feedback from your peers regularly,
usually via async comments on your work products.
- You can work remotely from your home however you must be
located in PST to accommodate the global stakeholders.
- This role is predominantly working with internal stakeholders;
however, there will be opportunities to interact with customers as
well.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, or
journalism.
- 7-10 years of experience with 4+ years of product marketing
experience (Enterprise product marketing and SaaS is
mandatory).
- Familiarity with key enterprise trust concepts (security,
compliance, scale, performance, etc).
- Marketing strategy, Product marketing and execution -
experience developing strategies to bring new products or features
to market, thinking through the end-to-end experience for
customers, and executing these plans from inception to completion
to high quality bar and on time.
- Experience with enterprise IT audience and B2B SaaS business;
ideally familiarity with key cloud platform capabilities like
security, compliance, scale, analytics, administration,
performance, etc.
- Data-driven marketer who is adept at analyzing historic
performance, setting campaign goals, and monitoring; someone who
seeks appropriate data to make decisions and finds proxy indicators
when ideal data is not available.
- Able to work in the following applications - Zoom, Slack,
GSuite, and ideally other products - Confluence & Jira.
- Stakeholder management - the primary stakeholders are across
demand generation, product management, sales enablement, and
creative. The role requires the ability to influence without
authority via stakeholder management.
- Effective communication - this role requires excellent writing
to draft customer-facing materials as well as clear, simple
enablement materials. Written and verbal communication will also
facilitate stakeholder management.
- Project management - marketing campaigns at client can be
complex. This role requires the ability to clearly document and
organize projects, track progress and provide relevant updates, and
manage timelines to ensure deadlines are met. They need someone
detail-oriented and organized.
- Experience with multi-tasking, customer service skills,
interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and manage
one's time.
- Ability to keep information organized and confidential.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as
