lives.Position:ImmunEdge has an exciting opportunity for a highly
motivated Senior Scientist on our Protein Engineering team.Key
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute cell-based assays and antibody engineering
campaigns to select and characterize candidate molecules for
clinical development
- Analyze protein structure and functions and design optimization
strategies
- Investigate signal transduction by phosphorylation, gene
regulation, cell differentiation and proliferation, and flow
cytometry
- Interrogate protein interaction and functions by ELISA, Octet,
and FRET
- Evaluate, troubleshoot and solve routine problems. Interpret
data based on knowledge and experience
- Maintain accurate and well-organized records and laboratory
notebook
- Organize and present scientific data at team
meetingsQualifications:
- PhD in microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry or related
field required
- 5+ years relevant experience in the life sciences industry
- High attention to detail with good time management and
organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize assignments
in a position which requires multi-tasking
- Motivated and able to work independently
- Effective interpersonal, communication, and organizational
skillsThis is a position that requires working in a laboratory
environment with biological and chemical hazards. Protective
clothing, gloves and safety glasses are required while working in
the laboratory. This position requires the ability to lift
containers or instruments up to 25 pounds and working standing at a
fume hood or lab bench for extended periods.Expected Salary Range:
$142,000 - $158,000We encourage candidates of all levels to apply
as there is sometimes flexibility on job level and
responsibilities. Compensation will be based on a variety of
factors, including experience, qualifications, internal equity, and
