This position is required to work on-site 5 days a week.
What we do:
The Senior Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying,
and administering cloud-based solutions in Azure. The role will
ensure the clou d systems adhere to organizational, industry, and
security standards. An in-depth understanding of Azure services,
including compute, storage, networking, and security is required to
be successful in the role.
What you can do:
Design, deploy and maintain complex Azure-based infrastructure and
solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze
requirements for cloud-based projects
Working with consultants and vendors on projects and/or for
additional support
Manage and optimize our data analytics infrastructure (Databricks
and Snowflake), including monitoring, troubleshooting, and
maintaining high availability
Develop and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure as code
templates for deploying Azure resources
Assisting with escalated support related to our Azure
environment
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure-based
infrastructure and applications
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to
ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in
collaboration with our security team
Manage and monitor Azure resources, including virtual machines,
storage accounts, and network components
Routinely review and suggest improvements to our Azure
environment
Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity
strategies
Act as a mentor to other cloud engineers and provide technical
guidance and support
May require up to 10% of domestic and international travel
Other duties as assigned
What you can contribute:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or a related
field required
5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management and
engineering, with a focus on Azure required
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools, such as Azure DevOps,
Bitbucket, and Jenkins
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies,
such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience managing Databricks and Snowflake infrastructure
Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS,
VPN, and load balancing
Experience with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting
languages
Microsoft Azure certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect
Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, are preferred

Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience,
job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible
for a bonus as part of total compensation.
The pay range for this position is:
$180,100-$218,300 USD
